John Salazar is picking out your coffin for you

Below you will find an assessment of Obamacare by Dr. Dave Janda, a world-recognized orthopedic surgeon.

Pay particular attention to the business about the "National Healthcare Board". You can even read the bill from the link provided, which is far more than any of your Colorado Congressional delegation or Barack Obama have done.

Before you read it, however, consider this:

Recently, we had the community involved in the Walk for Life. Over in Colorado Bank East, we had the Walk for Life Footprint cards up all along the wall. There were a lot of them. Most of them were not survivors, but many of them survived long enough to inspire the rest of us, and to love the rest of us, and be loved by us.

If it were up to Obama and his collection of elitists, Sue Steeves would have been denied treatment. If it were up to Obama and his collection of elitists, Gordon Gossman would have been denied treatment. Both suffered from extremely aggressive cancers, with almost no chance of survival. Yet both lived much longer than predicted, and both had a much better quality of life during their illnesses than most would have thought possible.

Yet Obama's National Health Care Board would have rejected their treatment as not being 'cost-effective'.

How many people do you know who right now, right this moment, fall into that bureaucratic pit of despair? How many have you known? How many of those people listed on the Footprints would have been picking out a coffin, courtesy of President Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi, and Henry Waxman, and Harry Reid... and John Salazar, Mark Udall, and Michael Bennet?

These arrogant, stupid bastards can't even run a clunker buy-back without screwing it up.

Do you really want them running your healthcare?

The One Word to Describe Obamacare
Written by Dr. Dave Janda
Thursday, 23 July 2009

As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of "reform" as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document:

AAHCA Bill

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The ObamaCare Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment."

Translation.....if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer.....dream on if you think you will get treated.....pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry.... this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is "to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs." Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology.

This " coordinator" will "monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate." It goes on to say....."Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties."

According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The ObamaCare Plan....if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow -up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union.

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage." What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job. Yes, illegal.

When Mr. Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible, a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: "Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?" Mr. Obama replied: "You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about."

Then there is Section 1233 of The ObamaCare Plan, devoted to "Advanced Care Planning." After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include, "how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care." It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the "enemy" as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The ObamaCare Plan is hazardous to the health of every American.

After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: "I'll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer."

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is FASCIST.

Then I added, "I hope you'll have the courage to use that word, Congressman. No other word is more appropriate."

Dr. Dave Janda, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon, and a world-recognized expert on the prevention of sports injuries, particularly in children. His website is noinjury.com.

"In your face ..."

The Democrats are really going into high whine state with their latest complaints about the protests over Obamacare.

The Republicans are organizing "mobs", they say.

Hoist by their own petard, I say. Back in September, Obama turned sour and sarcastic (it's OK to do that if you are a socialist or even a Democrat) and urged his minions to use 'get in their faces' tactics:

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face," he said.

Obama mocks

And of course, we all remember Hillary Clinton's most famous rant:

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic, and we should stand up and say, ‘WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!’”

She was, of course, talking about Democrats going on about Bush. It apparently doesn't work the other way around.

Obama certainly doesn't think so, either.

The individual vs. The State

Bill Jacobson has been on a roll of late, over at Legal Insurrection:

Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion: Health Care Ghimmitude

Here is an excerpt:

The irony is that those most willing to submit to government power on health care issues are those least likely to submit on other personal freedoms. The same people who scream bloody murder at the thought of the NSA intercepting phone calls between likely al-Qaeda operatives in the U.S. and a cave in Northwest Pakistan without judicial approval, are at the forefront of the health care Ghimmitude movement. In exchange for being given free health care benefits, such people are willing to have their medical records turned over to the state, and to have an unelected and unimpeachable commission decide who shall live and who shall die by virtue of deciding which medical procedures and medicines are cost effective for the nation.

While the proponents of government-controlled health care look forward to the day when they can turn their medical records over to the state, they guard their phone records with religious zeal.

Jacobson correctly points out that the health care 'debate' is only the tip of the iceberg. While this is a vitally important issue for a lot of reasons, the most important is that it is a fundamental clash between the individual and the state.

To what degree are we willing to give up our individualism in order to be nanny-ized by the state?

Is Obama The Leader, as in "Waiting for the Worms"?

"Let 'em eat cake ..."

From White House Press Secretary Robert "Giggles" Gibbs, today:

The White House said Tuesday that some of the anger that Democratic lawmakers have encountered at town hall meetings over the past several days is "manufactured."

"In fact, I think you've had groups today, Conservatives for Patients Rights, that have bragged about organizing and manufacturing that anger," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said

No, "Giggles", what you are seeing is very angry voters. The wishful thinking and "Screw 'em" attitude of the Obamanians is not going to make it any better.

The state of Texas went for John McCain in the last election. However, Lloyd Doggett, the CongressCritter from Austin, is about as liberal as they get, and Austin has been described as having "... more Communists than still remain in the Kremlin ...". Austin is to Texas as Boulder is to Colorado ... an oasis of liberal socialism surrounded by reality. Doggett's district went for Obama by 20 points.

Yet the voters jeered Doggett out of his town hall meeting, chanting "Just say no! Just say no!", following him out into the parking lot as he fled:

Is that 'manufactured'?

BTW ... speaking of 'manufactured' anger ... how's the Obama Department of Injustice doing with that Phillie voter intimidation whitewash?

The vast right wing conspiracy

Some of the mainstream media, like NBC, are going on about how these disruptive taxpayers heckling their CongressClowns are really Republican plants. It's all part of that vast right wing conspiracy.

The problem with that theory, of course, is that the Republicans couldn't organize themselves out of a wet paper bag. That's why they took such a beating at the polls last couple of elections, and they haven't managed to pull their heads out of their butts long enough or far enough to do any better at the present.

But since it could not be We the People finally getting fed up with having Obama's crap sandwiches shoved down our throats, so it must be the Evil Republicans.

The Republicans are not evil. They are merely incompetent. Any 'conspiratorial behavior' is purely accidental and coincidental. So is any impression of Republican organization.

Self-serving scumbags

That's our CongressClowns, the ones who are in such a rush to vote for Obamacare, despite increasing outrage and disgust from the public.

Did you know that those self-serving scumbags have exempted themselves from Obamacare?

That's right.

Obamacare is such a crap sandwich they don't want it for themselves or their families.

Under the current draft of the Democrat healthcare legislation, members of Congress are curiously exempt from the government-run health care option, keeping their existing health plans and services on Capitol Hill. If Members of Congress believe so strongly that government-run health care is the best solution for hard working American families, I think it only fitting that Americans see them lead the way. Public servants should always be accountable and responsible for what they are advocating.

Where did I find that?

Right here:

Congressman John Fleming, Louisiana's 4th District

So what is John Salazar's position on this? Is he going to sign up for Obama's latest piece of political puke?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Spanked ...

... and sent to their rooms without dinner.

That's Timmy "Eunuch of the Treasury" Geithner and Chief Economic Advisor Larry Summers, both of whom in no uncertain terms said it was a matter of "when", not "if", on a tax hike for those making less than $250,000.

The White House Press Secretary Robert "Giggles" Gibbs put more spin on the denials than you'll see on a cue ball in a high-stakes snooker game.

And Barack Obama, wearing that arrogant-chin-held-high "I am The One" pose, grimly and piercingly watched Geithner tap dance his way around his 'clarification'.

No new taxes

The stupidity of the Cash for Clunkers program

Cash for Clunkers has gone through money more than thirteen times faster than any other government spending program, and there are lots of those.

Here's an interesting observation

Oddly, it does't really matter what the difference is in the gas mileage between old "clunkers" and new cars. Replacing an 18 mpg car with one that offers 22 mpg, gets you a subsidy. But you cannot get a subsidy if you replace a 19 mpg car with one getting 45 mpg.

That's true. Read the guidelines yourself, here:

Car Allowance Rebate System

Here's an article from which the quote above was taken:

Cash for Clunkers no success

That didn't stop the CongressionalClowns for voting to 'dumpsterize' another $2 billion, 316 to 109. And now the Senate has it. Do they have the brains or the balls to put a stop to this nonsense?

Of course not.

Boos and Hisses

That's what Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Senator Arlen Specter got up in Phillie yesterday as they tried to serve up the crap sandwich known to most of us as "Obamacare".

Audience Shouts Down Sebelius, Specter at Health Care Town Hall in Philadelphia

"I look at this health care plan and I see nothing that is about health or about care. What I see is a bureaucratic nightmare, senator. Medicaid is broke, Medicare is broke, Social Security is broke and you want us to believe that a government that can't even run a cash for clunkers program is going to run one-seventh of our U.S. economy? No sir, no," she said.

That was from a woman who "... a woman who earned loud applause when she said she doesn't want Washington interfering with her health care choices."

Then Specter, who has not shown himself to be one of our brighter lights in Sodom-on-the-Potomac, was booed and jeered by the crowd when he told them "... that lawmakers divide up the bills into sections and have their staffs read portions because, "We have to make judgments very fast."

No, they don't. We are supposed to have a 'deliberative democracy',not a bunch of Congressional Clowns who jam crap sandwiches down our throats as fast as they can shovel the manure.

Everything is a damned crisis these days. Everything requires 'bold, swift, action'.

What that means is a bunch of buffoons in Washington shuffle and jive to whatever garbage comes out of the Orchid Office these days. Read a bill? Actually reada bill?

Why, that might take time away from the lecture circuit. That might take time away from whatever mistress de jour is being boffed. That might take time away from the golf game with the lobbyists. That might take time away from stuffing oneself with Wagyu steaks. That might take time from sucking up to the Chinese.

Our own Colorado Democratic congressional delegation is pretty much in lock-step with the party line. Those people haven't had an original thought since Obama last issued one to them.

Here's an even better one, from that whackjob that now serves as our Speaker of the House:

The anger is just a sample of the reaction lawmakers are bracing for as they try to sell the massive plan wending its way through Congress. The House Energy and Commerce Committee passed its version -- one of five in Congress - late Friday before the House broke for the August recess.

They are using that month's time to sell the plan to voters. For those Democrats who haven't read the 1,000 pages of legislation, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has handed out cards with talking points to address constituents' concerns.

That's right. Since our CongressCreatures are too lazy, too stupid, too busy, or too indifferent to actually read the bill, Nancy "The Mouse" Pelosi has prepared cards for them. Little teleprompters, only in flash card form. You know, like kindergarten kids use to learn basic math.

And since none of them have actually read the bill, none of them really know if what Pelosi is putting on the cards has any link to the truth. It's just Pelosi-think.

That's the crap sandwich that Obama and the Democrats are trying to shove down our throats.

Here are some videos:

Taxpayers react to Specter's 'You gotta do it fast' nonsense:

"How can you manage health care when you can't even manage Cash for Clunkers?"

Lloyd Dogget catches it from constituents in Austin, TX:

And here's what the left thinks of those who question what the government is doing with our money: "The crazies come out to discuss health care". Yep. We're all 'crazies' to the Democrats:

More from the "religion of peace"

Christian family burned to death in Pakistan

Paramilitary troops patrolled the streets of a town in eastern Pakistan yesterday after Muslim radicals burned to death eight members of a Christian family, raising fears of violence spreading to other areas.

Hundreds of armed supporters of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, an outlawed Islamic militant group, burned dozens of Christian homes in Gojra over the weekend after allegations that a copy of the Koran had been defiled.

Well ... it doesn't sound like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is all that "outlawed" in Pakistan:

The mob opened fire indiscriminately, threw petrol bombs and looted houses as thousands of frightened Christians ran for safety. “They were shouting anti-Christian slogans and attacked our houses,” Rafiq Masih, a resident of the predominantly Christian colony, said. Residents said that police stood aside while the mob went on the rampage. “We kept begging for protection, but police did not take action,” Mr Masih said.

In fact, it appears that this 'outlawed Islamic militant group' does pretty much whatever it wants to.

I'm sure that somewhere in there, some Islamic fundamentalist is due an apology from Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.
